Porsche cars are universally recognised as the driver’s car. They perform fantastically on the UK roads and come alive on track, stemming from a decorated motorsport history. We understand that for most people a lot of the performance potential of your Porsche cannot be reached without booking into a track day, and that’s why we are always eager to showcase the Porsche Experience Centre to our customers.
The Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone offers Porsche owners the chance to find the limits of Porsche performance in a safe, controlled environment. On the 13th of July, in collaboration with our sister centres in Bristol, Cardiff and Tewkesbury, Porsche Centre Swindon, participated in our first ever group exclusive depositors’ day. The entire Experience Centre, including the famous driving instructors, were completely focused on customers from our dealerships.
From the handling circuit to the ice hill, our customers were able to test Porsche cars under a variety of challenging road conditions and driving styles. The goal of the Porsche Experience Centre staff is to showcase performance technology in action. Some customers chose to focus on controlling the demonstrator car in a low friction environment, gaining an understanding and appreciation of the elite traction control system while others chose to focus on high-speed car control, dialling in on the benefits of PDCC and Rear-Axle Steering.
This customer day was a huge success, we only wish that we could have hosted more of you. We are looking forward to arranging more depositor days in the future, so keep an eye on your email inbox! *Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
