Goodwood Revival is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the history of motoring with an action packed timetable of historic racing, vintage fashion, and even a Butlin’s Rock N Roll Ballroom.
This year motorsport enthusiasts from around the UK gathered at Goodwood for a weekend of celebrations and to look around the stands and stalls. This year launched the first Revival Car Boot Sale for visitors to purchase remarkable memorabilia and exciting gifts from the stalls. The Revival high street was also open for shopping, and offered the usual eclectic mix of exhibitors showcasing their vintage clothing and motorsport accessories.
Obviously there is more to Goodwood than what you can bring home with you in your shopping bags, the memories you will take away include fantastic classic cars, famous drivers and all the fun of a vintage fairground.
The Porsche stand was decked out in Classic Parts which, despite their modern manufacturing, fit in beautifully with the historic surroundings. A wonderful collection of Porsches were also on display as well as replica models too. The Revival has a certain significance for Porsche. The spirit of celebrating classics and keeping history alive is of importance to the brand as they aim to keep over 70% of their built cars on the road.
