Porsche Centre Swindon is proud to have been selected as a Porsche Classic Partner. Porsche Classic covers all Porsche model generations that have been out of production for ten or more years, up to and including the 996 generation 911 and 986 generation Boxster.
Whilst all Porsche Centres are qualified to work on classic Porsche vehicles, Porsche Classic Partners undergo additional training at the factory in Stuttgart to ensure that their technicians are proficient in all elements of service and repair whether it be a 356, 944 or a 911.

Kevin Allen, one of our Classic Technicians, has been with Porsche Centre Swindon for over 10 years working on Porsche models of all ages. He has recently completed a Classic Training Course at the Porsche Factory in Germany.
Kevin’s current project at Porsche Centre Swindon is the restoration of a Porsche 1980 Le Mans 924GTP engine. This engine is particularly distinctive as it is from one of three Porsche models that were made by the Factory especially for the 1980 Le Mans race.Contact us
Kelston Land, a long standing Porsche Centre Swindon customer, has recently begun restoring his 1990 Porsche 944 S2. Mr Land originally had a 944 S2 from new but sold it, so since finding this model again, with specifications close to his first 944 S2, his intention has been to restore it to its original glory.
Previously, Porsche Centre Swindon completed an MOT and minor works on the vehicle, but more recently the car was brought in for major restoration works.
The first items to be restored were the fuel and brake lines and engine oil, followed by a new clutch, cam and balance belt and a new water pump. Once these were completed, the cosmetic restoration of the 944 S2 began at our Porsche Approved Recommended Repairers, Dick Lovett Spraymaster. They began repairing the rusted areas and then fully resprayed the 944 S2 in Guards Red, its original colour.
The restoration programme is now almost completed, so Porsche Centre Swindon is carrying out a service and MOT, plus some minor maintenance work, to complete the project and restore Mr Land’s 944 S2 to showroom condition.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 928, Porsche Classic Partner Centre Swindon, in collaboration with the other three UK Porsche Classic Partner Centres and Porsche Recommended Repairer Road & Race Restorations, have been restoring a 1978 Porsche 928.
Now back to its former glory, the car will be raced at various events throughout the summer months, piloted by racing legend Richard Attwood. Race reports will be posted on our dedicated page so do check regularly for updates.Find out more

Regardless of mileage, you should change the engine oil of your classic Porsche once a year as short trips are particularly detrimental to the oil. Frequently starting the engine when it is cold causes more fuel, combustion products and moisture to get into the oil.
Porsche Classic Motoroil has been specially designed by Porsche to suit the specific characteristics and demands of an air-cooled flat engine to ensure optimal performance.Discover more
